1. Make sure your mobile phone can upload and install any application. Then, download Opera Mini 5 with the main browser on your mobile phone and go to m.opera.com
2.  After successfully installed Opera Mini on your phone, you need to change the settings on your maxis line, to maxis broadband to enable the use of free internet on Opera Mini.

Follow the steps below

• Press * 100 #
• Select 8 for service
• Select 1
• Select 9 for Prepaid Broadband
• Select 4 for Server Switching
• Select 2 to switch to Prepaid Broadband
• Finally, press 1 to Proceed

When you receive a message from number 28222 stating "your SIM has been changed to the profile of Broadband. APN = bbnet you." And now Maxis has set a Prepaid Broadband.

Note: When you change the settings to Prepaid Broadband you can not receive or send MMS. For that you need to switch back to Hotlink Prepaid. Any exchange between the Prepaid Hotlink and Prepaid Broadband is free.

Next go to the Application menu on your phone and open Opera Mini 5. Wait until finished loading and go to any website. For example, Facebook Mobile is m.facebook.com.

Visit for a few minutes and see your credit balance. Your balance is not reduced, right?. Now you can surf the Internet 24/7 for free just to make some changes to the settings using the Prepaid Broadband and application Opera Mini 5.
